Yours is the role of “official” host – someone whose presence, conversation and actions say that this is a place characterized by warmth, friendship, and hospitality.
Training is required and provided.
Skills needed include:
Ability to project a spirit of welcome and friendship
Organizational skills
Responsibilities include:
Regular attendance at Mass
Fill out and return the pre-schedule by the date requested.
Keep scheduled assignments. Preferred Mass time will be honored as much as possible.
Find a substitute when you cannot keep your scheduled assignment.
Maintain orderly flow of, and execute, a variety of tasks prior to, during, and after Mass.
