The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process whereby adults are fully initiated into the Catholic Church.
The RCIA is a journey! A process of conversion for those interested in being fully initiated into the Catholic Church. This includes:- Those who are unbaptized
- Those baptized in another Christian Faith tradition
- Those who were baptized Catholic, but have not completed the Sacraments of Initiation: Holy Communion and/or Confirmation.
RCIA sessions are held over the course of several months. RCIA participants are welcomed into the parish community, educated on what the Catholic Church believes and teaches, and given the opportunity to ask questions about those beliefs.
